Weekly Summary

Hello,

Thank you everyone for your hard work and concentration. Each week, I will review what information we covered here and offer suggestions for improvement.


1.)  Practice Oral Test-  Page 118-122

2.)  Note-taking practice- Remember to listen for main idea

3.) P 123- 124- We reviewed more tips on great listening.  Don't forget to dismiss the instructions, and always listen for the main idea.

4.) P. 125-136- Further listening practice.

5.) The importance of an intro in your speaking questions. Don't forget you want to wake up the 90 year old guy ready to go to sleep.

Suggestions
1.) Mistakes are your friends-  Don't worry if you make a mistake on the practice tests. It is the best way to learn.

2.)Full concentration required- I need full concentration from everyone to make this class work. Please no FB, texting, Line, What'sApp, internet browsing, during class.

3.) Keep improving your note-taking ability- The TOEFL requires you to be very good at this skill. Just keep practicing:)
