It's a very prestigious exam and it's highly respected in the States, and of course countries that are close to the States or look up to them.
- It's assessed by Princeton experts: if there are people whose opinion on your English command is to be listened, it's them (and of course Cambridge).
- It gives you more confidence once you know where you are.
- It's directed by and at an academic public.
- It's very-well organised, so the margin of error is slim.
- It's very clear in its results.
